NEGOTIATIONS WITH SEALAND FAIL

      
Diplomatic negotiations between Diaryland and the nation of Sealand broke down earlier this month, with both sides breaking off diplomatic relations indefinitely.
The conflict between Diaryland and Sealand remains unexplained, stemming back to an "incident" which has been censored and stricken from all records by the governments of both countries. The only clue as to the origin of this national hostility is that it "involves board games".
Despite ongoing hostilities and the fragility of diplomatic relations, the two nations have never engaged in open war, though it is rumoured that espionage and small skirmishes occur regularly.
With yet another failure of negotiations, war seems closer than ever. UN officials continue to strive for peace between these two nations, rather than risk a war which they fear may be more destructive than any since World War II.
