DIARYLAND DISPLAYS NUCLEAR SUPERIORITY

      
Until now, Diaryland's nuclear armaments have been restricted to rumour, however, since the moon has been successfully invaded by Diaryland forces, its leading officials have chosen to release the fact that their nation has become a nuclear power.
The Diaryland secretary of defense, speaking at a private conference this morning, said that the release of this information was "Primarily a deterrent to those who might consider military action against our territories". He also confirmed that they intend to place nuclear weaponry on the moon, again to act as a deterrent against invaders.
"We cannot be too careful in a world where dangerous rogue countries like Sealand are given free reign" the secretary said, at the end of his speech.
In closing questions, the secretary claimed that Diaryland was not planning to use its nuclear weaponry, although when asked if they would use nuclear weapons in a hypothetical war against Sealand, the secretary of defense declined to comment.
This new development will be discussed at a UN meeting tomorrow morning. Amid fears that this announcement could spark a nuclear arms race in many other countries, the UN also fears that it may drive the nation of Sealand to develop its own nuclear weapons, an action which could effectively lead to nuclear strikes should the two countries go to war.
