ABOUT DIARYLAND

TERRITORIES
Diaryland currently controls the moon, which it recently claimed and occupied. Diaryland also posesses other territories which are rich in natural resources, particularly gold and silver, though where these are located is classified information.

THE FLAG

The national flag of Diaryland displays its national colours, and three symbols of its culture. The quill represents their fondness for literature and writing, the keyboard their advanced technical ability, and the teapot their high degree of social advancement.
The Diaryland flag is proudly displayed above most Diaryland government buildings and national landmarks.

CULTURE
Diaryland's culture is highly unusual for a nation of such advancement, having a very clear class division, with the intellectual elite holding positions of power while the underclass perform the required labour. The underclass have developed their own primitive language similar to English. Speaking this language among the ruling class is considered to be the worst faux-pas one can make in Diaryland culture. There is very little intermingling between the two classes.
In a culture such as this, rebellion among the underclass is common, with the occasional peasant declaring himself "KING OF DIARYLAND" and attempting a rebellion. Such rebellions, however, are quickly dissolved as the ruling class simply move to different locations until the rebels forget what they were doing or get overexcited and have to take a nap.
